Description

Darwin Reader is a book reader designed specifically for blind, low vision, and print disabled users. The app supports DAISY formatted audio and text books, and integrates with Benetech Bookshare and Librivox for downloading books. The menus are vocalized. Users with dyslexia, other print disabilities and blind and low vision users can navigate by tapping on the screen. During playback, users can choose between two modes of operation. In the "Eyes-Free" mode, they can swipe their finger across the screen to move between sentences and sections. In the graphical mode, all menus are vocalized and include large, graphical elements..
